The Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering is proud to share our lunch and learn seminar for April 2021 hosted by Dr. Jose Contreras-Vidal as he discusses the emerging field of Neurohumanities. This field of research promotes innovation and design between neuroengineering and the humanities, including the arts, ethics, philosophy, literature, design and law. In this talk, Dr. Contreras-Vidal will provide examples of recent collaborations with UH Public Art, and professional artists and performers, and conclude his discussion with a sketch of a road map for the field, including challenges and opportunities with societal impact.
