National Research Council Fellowships

The National Research Council of the National Academies sponsors a number of awards for graduate, postdoctoral and senior researchers at participating federal laboratories and affiliated institutions. These awards include generous stipends ranging from $42,000 – $80,000 per year for recent Ph.D. recipients, and higher for additional experience.

Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) Exchange Programs

We are excited to introduce our exchange programs at HUST to the students of University of Houston (UH). Students from UH are welcome to study at HUST under the institutional exchange program.

To attract the best students from UH, HUST would like to offer 1-2 scholarships to students to study postgraduate programs at HUST.

Ford Foundation Fellowship Programs

Naval Research Internships

The online application process opened in October 2012 for the Naval Research Enterprise Internship program, a 10-week summer research opportunity for undergraduate rising sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students. Interns work under the guidance of a mentor at a participating Navy laboratory. Stipends are highly competitive. Permanent residents are accepted at certain labs; otherwise, U.S. citizenship is required. Apply at:
